Laundry Closet Makeover

by Anna on July 10, 2012

This weekend was rainy, and perfect for cleaning. We scrubbed the condo from top to bottom, and as tedious as it was, it felt so good.

After replacing our dryer a few weeks ago, the laundry closet needed a deep cleaning. I did most of it the day we brought home the dryer, spending hours scrubbing the wall to free it of the lint that was caked on it. But almost more than cleaning, it needed organizing.

I finally got around to scrubbing down the shelves.

And put this cute little jar my mom gave me to good use.

I added two $6 wire baskets from Home Goods…

And voila! Organization. (Sorry for the awful photo, it’s a weird place photograph)

And then I had my house boy roommate put the doors back on. I can rest easier knowing that behind the doors, it’s clean and organized now.

We’re headed to Vegas on Thursday night. Scrappy Travel posts to come!
