This is a timed post — we’re in Vegas! I hope that by now I’ve got a drink in one hand, and a wad of cash from winning at the roulette table in the other!
It’s been a bit of a rough week. Coming home from work on Monday I rear-ended the guy in front of me, which set a bad tone for my entire week. I put a square-shaped hole in the bumper of my dad’s car (of course it wasn’t MY car I was driving…ugh!), and bent up the other guy’s cargo carrier. Thankfully there wasn’t more damage, and no one was hurt (especially considering he had SIX kids in the car with him). In true scrappy fashion, I was able to replace his cargo carrier for $59 at Wal Mart, and we didn’t have to get insurance involved. My dad’s still deciding what to do about the damage on his end, but thinks he can fix it for a few hundred bucks.
Thankfully I only had a four-day week and I can relax in Vegas this weekend. I hope you’ve got something planned this weekend too!
